First of all, clearing the program cache will assist you in resolving this problem. Launch CleverGet, go to the top-right corner, and click the three-dot icon. By clicking this icon, a drop-down menu will appear on your screen; from here, search for the "Settings" option. Click "Settings"; it will take you to the "Settings panel". Move the cursor to the "Clear" button next to the "Cache" box. Click "Clear" to clear the program cache and restart the program.

You can also have an option of clearing all cache files stored in the cache folders as mentioned below for Mac and Windows computers:

For Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/CleverGet/CleverGet/

For Windows: C:/Users/(UserName)/AppData/Local/CleverGet/

1.Open your computer's "Task Manager > Details" tab.

2. Scroll down and search for "xdl.exe" file.

3. Terminate this progress and then try to install CleverGet again.

Normally, CleverGet will download the M4SCONVERT.dll file automatically by patching. If the issue isn’t resolved by patching, then try downloading the M4SCONVERT.dll file and putting it in CleverGet’s installation folder. After that, restart the CleverGet video downloader software.
