If you cannot connect your iOS device and computer via Bluetooth while using our Phone Mirror, you can follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve Bluetooth connectivity problems on your iOS device:

  • Make sure your iOS device and computer are nearby once Bluetooth is turned on, as Bluetooth has a limited range of 10 meters. When utilizing Phone Mirror for screen casting, the connection may experience instability or failure beyond this distance.
  • Confirm the correct pairing with your computer by reviewing the Bluetooth connection settings. Navigate to "Settings," choose "Bluetooth," and ensure that your computer's name is visible in the "My Devices" section. If it displays as "Not Connected," tap to initiate a connection. If your computer isn't listed, locate it under "Other Devices" and update its status to "My Devices."
  • Avoid interference by maintaining a distance between your iOS device and computer and other potential sources of disruption, such as wireless routers, microwave ovens, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
  • Ensure your iOS devices are running the latest version by updating them. An outdated iOS version could impede the discovery and connection process. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check if your iOS device has the latest version.
