FAQs of AceThinker Wind Cut (Formerly Video Editor)

Install and download the AceThinker Wind Cut on your computer. Run the installer and complete the installation After that, launch the tool to access its main interface. Click the “Account” icon in the upper right corner of the tool. Register using your Email, Facebook, or Twitter, in the floating window. Input your Email and password to register.

Absolutely! Updating Wind Cut to the newest version is free. You can check it by ticking the “Menu” icon and clicking the “Check for updates” option. After that, the system will automatically update Wind Cut to the latest version.

Step 1: Launch the Wind Cut

First, launch Wind Cut to access its main interface. In the upper right corner of the tool, click the “Account.” After that, a window will pop up; in the right side of the window tick the “Activate VIP” button to begin registering your VIP activation code. Then a new window will show on your screen.

Step 2: Input Activation Code

In the new pop-up window, input the activation code sent in your Email from the AceThinker support team. Go to your Email, then copy and paste the code into the input field. After that, click the “OK” button to activate your VIP account.

Step 1: Import Video Clips

First, import the video files you want to edit in Wind Cut. Click the “Media” tab, hit the "Import" and select the video files you want to edit. Click the “+” icon to add the video to the timeline.

Step 2: Add Effects

Using the seven tabs of the tool, you can add video effects you want and add them in the editing panel. You can add Music, Text, Transitions, Filters, Overlays, and Elements. Just click the “+” icon to add them to your video. Lastly, click the Trash icon to delete or if you want to change the effects.

Once you import the video files you want to edit in Wind Cut select the video files you want to reverse and then click the "Edit" in the upper left corner of the tool. Select the "Edit" option, and tick the reverse option to play the video backward. Hit the "OK" button to save changes.

After importing the video files in Wind Cut, select the video clip you want to adjust speed. Click the “Edit” in the upper left corner of the tool and then select the “Edit” option. Move the slider in the “Speed” tab to adjust the video speed. Click the “OK” button to confirm the changes.
